What do you mean by a ‘page’?

Page one is the headline page; the reverse of that is page two. To produce a 24pp tabloid, for example, we would require 24 individual page files from you. Physically speaking, a 24pp tabloid consists of six folded sheets with 4pp on each.


What is the smallest number of copies you can print?

Preparing a print run is a complex process and once running, the press operates at very high speeds. We therefore offer a minimum of 1,000 copies, although for low paginations it is possible to print fewer. Call us for further details.


If I decide to print more copies of the same publication at a later date will it cost me less?

Unfortunately not, since the lithographic plates are distorted in the process of removing them from the press.


What colour options are there?

You can either have black only or full CMYK process colour.


Can I have two versions of the front page?

Yes, it is possible to stop the press to make an ‘edition change’; in fact, you can change any number of pages. However, the more pages you change the more it will cost.


What is your turnaround time?

Once we have received your print-ready PDFs we can deliver your finished papers within 1-3 working days. The more notice you can give us - and a week is usually plenty - the more likely it will be we can print on the exact date you require.


How will the newspapers be delivered?

The most cost-efficient way to deliver your papers is by overnight palletised freight service. If you do not have anywhere to receive or store a pallet, or the timing is critical, we can deliver the papers by same-day van courier service; the driver will unload the bundles for you by hand. If you are only ordering a small quantity of newspapers we can deliver in boxes by overnight parcel service.


How can I pay?

We accept payment by credit/debit card or bank transfer (the latter can take up to three working days to reach us, unless your bank operates Faster Payments). We can accept cheques but they require six working days to clear from receipt.
