About Us

Sharman & Company Ltd. is a family run business that was established in 1910, although the family had been publishing and printing newspapers since 1872. Having expanded to publishing and printing 11 weekly newspapers in the East Anglia region by the 1980’s, the publishing side of the business was sold in 1989 and the company moved into a new purpose built site on the outskirts of Peterborough. Since then we have been providing newspaper printing services to a wide range of customers.

Our clients include the major regional newspaper publishers, independent local and specialist publishers, corporate communications departments, political parties, foreign language publishers, local councils and universities.

Our products can be printed on uncoated papers ranging from 45gsm standard newsprint to 80gsm woodfree bond all produced on our cold-set web offset press, with print runs of whatever you want. All aspects of the pre-press and printing are carried out in-house by our experienced staff.
